Seeing the invisible through DIY security systems

Posted under Science by admin

My aunt, who raised me up, died of carbon monoxide poisoning. It was a hard truth to bear since of all things she could have died from, it is from carbon monoxide poisoning. She could have died old, or she could have died from a physical illness. Instead, she died out of a gas leak that could have been prevented. 7 years after her death, I still reminisce my childhood with her. I regret up to now that she is gone and would not be able to meet her grand nieces after I have started a family of my own. The impact of carbon monoxide poisoning to me has pushed me to have a Home Security Systems. I cannot allow my family to succumb to that same fate as my aunt did. The thing about gas poisoning is that it is usually undetectable by the human senses. A gas poisoning might already been killing you without you knowing. That?s what happened to my aunt. For my house now, we have a gas sensor that will be able to effectively detect any gas that may harm my family. The DIY Security Systems has always been a must for me after my aunt?s death. I guess by having a gas sensor and other security measure in my house, I am fulfilling my promise to my aunt when I was young. I said to her that my parents may have left me, but I still have a family because of her. She asked me to promise to her that I will live life to the fullest no matter what. I think I am doing that now, and even made my life and my family?s life safer.
